Plan a Trip


7. Plan a trip - all expenses, a time schedule, prices, places, distances, see how far you can take it. Who knows, maybe we will do your trip. This is something that should be presented.

Were I would go: San Francisco, California
Expenses: $472 to go from Atlanta, Georgia to San Francisco, California and vice versa.
Time Schedule: October 1st to October 13th
Prices: Hotel Omni San Francisco for 13 nights $3,450
Places: San Francisco, California
Distances: The distance between the two is 1 day and 16 hours to drive and they are 2,472.6 mi apart.

I would really like to do this trip and here are my sources.

Recipe conversion


Coca-Cola Cake

Ingredients                                                  

1(8 ounces) cup Coca-Cola                                                                                                                                                                  1/2 (4 ounces)cup buttermilk                                      

1 (8 ounces)cup butter or margarine, softened        

1 3/4(14 ounces) cups sugar                                                     

large eggs, lightly beaten                                                       
2 (10 milliliters)teaspoons vanilla extract                                   
2 (16 ounces) cups all-purpose flour                                             
1/4 (2 ounces)cup cocoa                                                              
1(5 milliliters) teaspoon baking soda                                             
1 1/2 cups(12 ounces) miniature marshmallows                            
Coca-Cola Frosting                                                         
Garnish: 3/4(14 ounces) cup chopped pecans, toasted  

Cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit

354.84 milliliters miniature marshmallows

Cook at 180 degrees Celsius

Goals for today!!

Do at least 2 math and 3 Language Arts!!!
I did 2 math. On the first lesson I got a 75% and then I fixed it and got an 80% . I also did another lesson and didn't do so well, but on Monday when I have a fresh mind i will repair the quiz.
I did 3 Language Arts. On 2 lessons weren't scored and one was and I got an 88%.

Adding Decimals

The first step you must do in adding decimals is line the numbers up like in the photo below.






The second step you must do is add together the hundredths place then the tenths place and then the ones place.
The last step you must do is get the answer to the problems!

Here are two examples:

1. Joey's teacher gave him two decimals and told him to add them together. his numbers were 2.45 + 6.03, the answer he got was
2.45 + 6.03= 8.48.

2. Linda and Karen had two decimals they wondered what would the answer would be it they added them together. There numbers were 5.32+4.57, and there answer was 5.32+4.57=9.89
